Soulshine was founded in 2009 as an Allman Brothers Tribute band by Vocalist/Drummer John Stanley (Stan) Killingsworth.
This band formed as an off shoot of the John Stanley Band, with three JSB musicians and three other highly qualified members (including sound tech.)
The impetus that leads to the formation of Soulshine was really quite evident.
It was one of those “duh” moments.
John Stanley recognized that each time the JSB played a few ABB songs, the band
received enthusiastic response from folks of all ages.
The music is classic and timeless. These guys have been covering the ABB since
the early 70’s and are very well versed in the original Allman Brothers Band
repertoire.
Entertaining for all and loved by true ABB purists. Soulshine is proud to honor the legendary Allman Brothers Band.
